Creating inclusive, accredited opportunities for People Living with Disabilities, and helping employers build diverse, capable teams.
Meriting Youth Development runs structured, SETA-accredited learnerships designed specifically for People Living with Disabilities. We combine classroom training, workplace placement, and dedicated mentoring, all in one programme that spans 12 months.
Learners receive formal qualifications, practical work experience, and a real chance at long-term employment. Employers gain trained, motivated team members, meaningful B-BBEE credentials, and a tax rebate for every learner they host.
This is not charity. It's skilled, capable talent, trained and ready to work.
Four pillars that make our Disability Learnerships succeed for both learners and employers
NQF Level 4 & 5 qualifications, fully recognised by the relevant SETA and registered on the NQF.
Real, paid work experience inside a host employer's business, not simulated training.
The majority of our learners stay with their employer after the learnership ends.
Every employer who hosts a learner is eligible for a significant tax benefit.
A clear, structured path from application to employment
Applicants are screened for eligibility and matched to a qualification that fits their goals and abilities.
Structured classroom learning covering both technical and soft skills, with continuous assessment.
Learners are placed with a host employer and supported by our team throughout the placement.
Graduates receive support with interviews, career growth, and where possible, retention with their host.
All qualifications are NQF-registered and SETA-accredited
Office administration, records management, and customer service skills that form the foundation of every professional workplace.
