Meriting Youth Development celebrated the graduation of Group 4 on June 14, 2015. The ceremony marked another milestone in our ongoing mission to empower unemployed youth with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the workplace.

The event brought together graduates, their families, staff members, and representatives from our partner organizations at our training center in Braamfontein. The atmosphere was electric with excitement and pride as we celebrated the achievements of another cohort of determined young people.

A Memorable Celebration

The ceremony opened with a warm welcome from our Programme Coordinator, who shared inspiring words about the journey the graduates had undertaken. Over the past two months, these young people had dedicated themselves to intensive training in computer skills, business administration, communication, and workplace readiness.

Group 4 consisted of 40 graduates who successfully completed the programme. Their dedication and hard work were evident throughout the course, and their achievements were celebrated with certificates and special awards for outstanding performance in various categories.

The ceremony featured inspiring testimonies from graduates who shared how the programme had transformed their lives. Many spoke of newfound confidence, practical skills, and concrete job opportunities that had come their way as a direct result of the training.

We are thrilled to announce that over 85% of Group 4 graduates have already secured employment or are pursuing further education. This remarkable success rate reflects the quality of our programme and the determination of our graduates.

The event concluded with a networking session where graduates connected with potential employers and explored job opportunities. It was a fitting end to their journey with us and the beginning of exciting new chapters in their lives.
